Breakaway Lodge is a Young Life  camp located on Oregon's scenic North Coast in the city of Gearhart. Built in 1924, the lodge offers coastal charm in an intimate and casual venue. Grassy dunes connect Breakaway Lodge to a wide stretch of sandy beach that provides a vista from the breakwater of the Columbia River to Tillamook Head.  We offer dorm-style accomodations, excellent meals, and cozy areas to gather, talk and play- all at an affordable price. Though Breakaway Lodge is known for serving adolescents and young adults, many men's and women's groups love the ambiance of our Arts & Crafts lodge. It is a convenient retreat for groups from Seattle to Eugene.
