This is the volunteer experience for those who have completed at least one year of college (or are of college or post-college age). The summer staff serves the campers in roles which require considerable maturity and non-verbal witness.

 

Some of the positions available at Castaway are staffing the climbing wall and zip line, driving boats, lifeguards, store & snack shop workers, kitchen staff and landscape workers.

 

You may check availability of openings and apply online (recommended) or download the application and recommendation and mail the forms to the property. Please apply as soon after January 1st as possible. Qualified applicants will be accepted into positions based on the order applications are received.

 

For staffing reasons, you must be able to commit to an entire session.

Session dates for 2008 are:

   June 5 - July 6

   July 5 - August 3

   August 2-13

This  is the volunteer experience for those in high school. To be eligible you must have completed one year of high school and complete your local area's work crew training course. The work crew serves the campers in a variety of ways like dining hall servers, grounds crew and housekeepers. To apply, download an application and give it to your local area director.
