Chad and Melissa Mayr, along with their four kids, Hannah, Caleb, Luke and Micah, moved from Arlington, Texas in late 2007.  Chad is the camp manager and oversees all of Lake Champion's operations. Prior to coming on staff full time at Lake Champion, Chad and Melissa supported their local Young Life area for 13 years in a variety of volunteer roles. Back in Texas, Chad spent eight years at the YMCA, two years in underground construction and six years in medical staffing.

Ellie and her husband Paul live in Milford, Pennsylvania. She makes a 30 minute drive everyday, sharing the road with not only other drivers, but deer, bear and other woodland creatures. For the past 11 years Ellie has served as the Office Manager at Lake Champion.

Sandy and her husband Rob live in Bangor, PA.  She has three teenage sons, Jim, Bill, and Dan.  Sandy has been on staff at Lake Champion since the fall of 2006 as the bookkeeper.  She has the very important job of making sure all bills are paid so Lake Champion can continue to operate and impact lives.

Aimee joined the team here at Lake Champion in late 2008 as her first encounter with Young Life.  She is splitting her days between the Site and Facilities office, helping with paperwork and computer programs and the Administrative office as an Administrative Assistant and coordinating our summer volunteers. Aimee moved from Mississippi to Matamoras, PA in 2001.  She then met and married her husband Matt in 2008. Before Lake Champion, Aimee worked at Milford Chrysler and Altec Lansing.
