Summer Camping

In the summer, our camps are full of high school or middle school kids from Young Life areas all over the country. If a week at a Young Life camp sounds exciting to you, contact your local area office to find out how to sign up.

Enjoy mountain views ... from the water's edge.

Since the first nine campers showed up in 1954, Malibu has been hosting thousands of high school students each summer. The unique location offers guests the opportunity to climb a mountain, sail the inlet and wakeboard behind tournament boats-- all in the same afternoon. Through the course of the week, kids are given the opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and make their own decision about accepting His offer to live life to the fullest.

Experience the Adventure

One promise we can make about your trip to Malibu is that you will not be bored. High adventure can be found in the treetop ropes course, zip line or on a climb up the side of Mt. Albert to Inspiration Point. When you are ready to come back to sea level, try wakeboarding, sailing, kayaking, inner tubing, the Blob or our heated swimming pool.  Plenty of other activities are also available to fill your long summer days and warm summer nights.

More Resort than Camp

Malibu was originally built as a resort for the rich and famous. Over the years celebrities and influential people found their way to Malibu, including John Wayne and John F. Kennedy, and were blown away by the beauty and service. Today Malibu is just as beautiful, and we strive to achieve an even higher standard of excellence in serving our guests.

Meals are served family-style by our work crew waitresses and busboys. The fabulous new dining room has a view that rivals any restaurant in the world.

Each cabin is a suite unto itself where guests stay with their leaders and friends. Linens and towels are provided, and each cabin has a private bathroom.

How do I sign up?

Kids don't get sent to Young Life camps. Kids are taken to camp. This means all of our guests come to camp with a local Young Life leader and other students from their area or school. Contact your local area office for more information about dates and pricing.
