The Rod and Reel

Southwind’s newest building, The Rod and Reel, is complete. The new game room and snack bar is a 5,000 square foot building including porches that is located between the Pier (dining hall) and Marina (club room). This addition has provided a place for campers and leaders to play, eat, laugh and just hang out. The game room offers plenty of free time options with brand new air hockey, ping pong, foosball and pool tables. The full service snack bar has just what you’re craving, offering ice cream treats, candy, popcorn, slushies, etc. See additional photos.

The Pier

The dining hall at Southwind, the Pier, has gotten a facelift. The entire interior has been painted and facades have been added to the back wall and stage area. You’ll also notice a tin “roof”, new fans and more concealed work areas. See additional photos.

The Marina

The Marina, Southwind's club room has also been renovated. A marina theme with facades has been built on the stage and each wall. See additional photos.

Fund-raising Priorities

Funds are still needed for the fifth dorm and office as well as the other projects listed in the master plan. Consequently, the primary focus is to fully fund these projects. Please pray with us for God's provision as we seek to raise the necessary funds for these upcoming projects.
