Southwind is a perfect camping locale for a variety of ministries and non-profit groups.  The unique facilities and experienced staff provide a great environment for church groups, student ministries, school groups and more.  Please feel free to contact us about how we can best serve you.

 

Southwind offers a variety of housing options.  Each of our four dorms accomodates between 48 and 52 guests.  Our four cabins located in the center of camp sleep between 12 and 14 guests each.  Silver Glen, our premium suites lodging, provides accommodations for adults, staff and their families.

The Pier, our dining facility, typically serves three meals each day. These meals are preselected by your trip coordinator from our menu. We can also serve brunch and prepare a snack.  We will work with your trip coordinator to serve your group's individual needs.  Our meals are prepared to meet the highest standards of quality.  
 
 
The Marina is the camp's main meeting facility. It has professional-grade sound, lighting and video equipment.  There is ample staging as well as a fully stocked skit closet. Floor seating is typical (approximately 320 people), but chairs can be provided (approximately 200 people).
 
The lobbies in both Silver Glen and Harborview as well as our Leader's Lounge are perfect for smaller group meetings or break out sessions. These facilities also have multimedia capability.
 

When you’re ready to play, we have you covered!  Our water recreation area is open year-round and includes two pools, a 250 foot slide, and a splash fountain.  Beach volleyball, basketball, foosball, ping pong, pool, and four square add to the fun of beautiful Southwind.  You may also enjoy a round of disc golf, swing through the air on the Giant Swing, or play team sports on our large, beautifully kept, grass fields.
