Pioneer Plunge operates during the school season (mid-August to mid-May). Trips typically last Friday through Sunday, but mid-week options are also available. Pioneer Plunge has a rich history, born out of the desire to provide a clear picture of authentic community, personal wholeness, and the transforming culture of the kingdom of God.  For this reason, we are looking for highly motivated applicants with well-developed relational skills and hands on ministry experience.  Plunge trips are very intense and guides work long hours in order to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Pioneer Plunge is neither for the fainthearted, nor for those unaccustomed to hard work.  It is an opportunity to live an serve in a unique community of guides and campers in order to build-up the kingdom of Christ.  Guides serve for one session (four to three weeks at a time) under a Guide Team Leader, similar to a summer staff position.
