Wooden Beams Arrive

On Monday May 14th the long awaited wall beams and construction materials arrived at Lake Champion as the last section of concrete was poured. The plan is to go vertical with the kitchen wall beams this week.

The last section of concrete is smoothed and finished by the masonry crew as the crane sets up to unload the beams from teh truck.

Workers use a large truck crane to unload the heavy beams and place them in the kitchen area where they are being installed.

Workers continue to unload the heavy support beams for the kitchen area. These support beams range from 12 - 14 feet in length.

While the crane continues to unload the beams it is easy to see how large The Bear Creek Inn is, in relation to the large construction vehicles.
