Shingles, Electricity and Facia

After the wood roofing material was completed on the kitchen part of the Bear Creek Inn shingles are nailed in place. Rough sawn western red cedar is added to the edges of the roof line as a facia board.

As progress continues the electricity is being run to the roof for fans, vents and A/C units.

On the roof of the kitchen area hood structures, vents and prelimanary parts of the A\C units are installed shortly after the shingles are in place. On the main dining room roof the frames for the foam insulation slabs are installed and ready for the sheets of insulation.

A view looking upward from the main dining room makes a great picture and you can see the beautiful contrast between the yellow pine tongue and grove and the stained rafters.

In the kitchen the roof is ready for the fiberglass insulation to be installed and the finishing touches to be added.

From a top the gym roof the comparison between the new and old dining hall is easily seen.
