Ready for a meal!

On May 6th we recieved our certificate of occupancy for The Bear Creek Inn. The chandeliers are hung, wall sconces wired, floor cleaned and the tables and chairs are set. We are still finishing up some small details, but the dining hall is ready for this weekend’s user group!

On Sunday the 4th of May, all the kitchen equipment and supplies were moved from the old kitchen into the new Bear Creek Inn. Now that all the appliances are hooked up and ready to go, the food service team is ready to prepare and serve their first meal in the new dining hall.

The painters are just about finished with the exterior paint. After the rock columns are finished the landscapers are scheduled to plant flowers, shrubs and trees around the building. Where you see dirt will be green grass and mulch beds by the start of the summer camping season.

As a way to show Corey, Bear Creek Inn's Project Manager, their appreciation some of the Lake Champion staff shaved their heads to look more like Corey(front and center.) Corey has worked long hours hammering out all the details for the new construction and has earned our gratitude.
