Volunteer Opportunities at Timber Wolf Lake

It's not often in life that we get to evaluate our purpose, map out our future and reflect on our past. As a volunteer at Timber Wolf Lake, you'll have the chance to grow personally and spiritually — you'll be surrounded by other people from all over the world who, like yourself, really want their life to count for something.

You'll have a chance to try new things and to spend time at one of the most beautiful places on God's earth. You will be challenged to take your faith to a new level and learn how to serve like Jesus did thousands of years ago.

You will also find yourself refreshed by the multitude of kids you've impacted — kids you've helped have the best time of their lives at Timber Wolf Lake.

Yes, it will be hard work, but there's a big payoff — changed lives — yours and the kids you influence.
There are opportunities year-round at Timber Wolf Lake! Contact us if you would like to serve in some way. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

This is a great volunteer experience for those who are in high school. To be eligible you must have completed one year of high school as well as your local area's work crew training course. The work crew serve the campers in a variety of ways such as dining hall servers, grounds crew and housekeepers. Contact your local area director if you are interested in applying for work crew.

For more information, talk to your local Young Life area director (find a Young Life Club near you).

Senior Volunteer Program

Volunteers have been an integral part of Timber Wolf Lake since its beginning.  One hundred thousand hours of volunteer labor enabled TWL to open its doors just 20 months after the land was purchased and volunteers have given hours and hours of labor in the years since that.  Now the volunteer program is being expanded.

Coyote Cove is now available for seniors who are looking to have a meaningful retirement to come on up to TWL and do the Lord’s work in helping to maintain this beautiful camp. Along with camping facilities which include electric, sewer and water for six campsites, there will be a couple of camping cabins for volunteers who do not have an RV. Wireless internet is be available.

The Volunteer Center, a wonderful building which houses a kitchen, a large gathering room, bathrooms, showers and soon a laundry room will also be used by volunteers for games, fellowship, potlucks, etc. If you are interested in being a part of this volunteer program, please contact TWL.
