The Washington Family Ranch's Long-term Volunteer Program is an opportunity for a life-changing volunteer experience. The program is designed for people who are deeply committed to Christ and desire to join our Property Staff in providing excellent camping experiences for teenagers and adults.
Volunteers join our community anywhere between a few months to a few years…and still counting! They will join the 80+ person community which consists of full time staff, interns, volunteers, and families. As a community, we all lay down our lives to serve each other and our guests. Living in this close of a community is both a blessing and a challenge.
Commitment
Long-term volunteers are asked to commit to working 30-40 hours per week (or a combined 50 hours a week for married couples) in an area of the camp that best fits their gifts, skills, desires and the needs of the ranch. These areas include food preparation, administrative tasks, maintenance and construction, housekeeping, landscaping, and other areas as needed.
