The staff of Washington Family Ranch has committed to giving and raising funds to make sure that no camper is left behind each summer. For the summer of 2009, The Leave No Camper Behind Fund awarded $89,000 to help 421 campers attend camp. This brings the 6 year program total to $368,000 for 1,828 campers.The fund was created to help middle school and high school kids, who have unique family and financial hardships, be able to afford a week at camp.

Applications can be submitted as early as December 1st, 2009 and will be accepted up until June 1st, 2010 for high school campers and until July 15th, 2010 for middle school campers, or until all available funds for the year have been exhausted.
Applications must be filled out by the camper’s leader and signed by the area director. The area director will be notified within a month as to if any money and how much will be awarded. The funds will be transferred into the area’s account after the camper attends camp.
