James Davis, II - Monrovia, Liberia
I began a relationship with Christ in 1992. Before then I didn't like going to church -- I preferred to spend Sundays on the soccer field playing with my friends. I did not come into the knowledge of Christ until I experienced some terrible things during our civil war. Several friends were killed and things went very bad with me. I made a promise to God that if He rescued me during the war I would work for Him. The Lord answered my prayer and so I commited my life to Him.
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." --John 14:6
Brief Description of Family
My family are all Christians. I have four sisters and I had three brothers -- our oldest brother was killed during the civil war. My parents live in a little village outside Monrovia where they do farming for the family.
I love making new friends, swimming, being with kids, playing table tennis, soccer and basketball.
The Larmeys' Description of James
James is an organizational wizard. He has a sincere heart for the Lord and for kids and especially for his desperately war-torn country of Liberia. |
