Before I met Jesus, my life was much worse. I was a bad boy and was even arrested and in jail. I came to know Christ through a very blessed minister and a friend of my parents. In 1986, I made Jesus my Savior and Lord, and he chose me to do his business.

 

Before Young Life, I worked as a youth leader in an international evangelical church. I trained church youth leaders, organized the church choir and musicians and taught in a few theological colleges of Ethiopia as an assistant musician. I also studied computer science.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.”-- Philippians 2:3-4

I have four sisters and two brothers.  I live with all of them except one. All my family loves the Lord, is involved in church and minister in different areas.
