Your Support is Crucial

Because Young Life areas are financially supported solely at the local level, donors are vital to Young Life. Without their support, Young Life would not be able to hire and train staff, provide essential administrative support to the area or help send kids to camp.

How Your Gifts Are Used

In Young Life we attempt to use best practices to be good stewards, and impact as many people as possible.  This years annual budget is $188,000.  Here is a breakdown of how these funds are designated:
  • $96,000 - Staff salary and benefits.
  • $35,000 - Camp costs and scholarships.
  • $32,000 - Program expenses.
  • $25,000 - National and regional service fee.
Staff salary and benefits: these financial figures are for 3 employees (1 FT/2 PT).  All of our staff work directly with kids, and help train volunteer leaders.
 
Camp cost & scholarships: we provide multiple scholarships to students who could otherwise not afford to go.
 
Program expenses: this includes staff training, office supplies, programs for kids, and money spent while spending time with kids (activities, meals, etc.,).
 
Service fee: this allows our area to utilize over 40 departments to reduce wasted labor and expenses.  Examples of this are payroll, website development, accounting, training, legal, insurance, etc.,

Becoming a Founding Member of the "77% Club."

A recent survey shows that 77% of people who give their life to Christ do so before they turn 21.  We would like to invite you to be a part of a special group of donors in the "77% Club."  We ask Founding Members to make a pledge in one of the following amounts, and give this amount each year, for 5 years.
 
  • $1,000 for 5 years (Student Level).
  • $10,000 for 5 years (School Level).
  • $25,000 for 5 years (City Level).
