Crazy About Kids

Young Life thinks the world of kids. We believe that they deserve to know what life can hold for them. Young Life leaders are caring adults who come sharing that hope as well as fun and lasting friendships with kids. Young Life is also all about fun. From club and camp to Campaigners and other activities, teenagers will have blast laughing, trying new things and being with their friends.

We have been walking alongside kids in Cheyenne since 2005 and can safely say that we have seen lives changed through the relationships that our Young Life Leaders have built with kids.  We have grown from working with kids from one school to working with kids from about 4 area schools and we look forward to the day when we start Capernaum (ministry to kids with disabilities) and YoungLives (our ministry to teen moms.) 

The Role of a Young Life Leader

Leaders are committed to being involved with kids' lives -- from supporting them at their sporting events to listening to them talk about what's important to them. Young Life Leaders don't wait for kids to show up at a Young Life club...we meet them in their world, at their schools, where they hang out.  We build trust over time and we earn the right to be heard by the students we work with.  Our leaders help kids consider the direction of their lives, and they offer hope for their future.
