Donors are vital to Young Life at the local level, and Young Life in France must directly raise 100% of their funding. Their current budget with Young Life includes salaries, ministry operating expenses including developing new work in France, and field expenses for reaching youth and youth families in Paris.

It is also important to note that the Usrey family, directors for the Young Life work in France, are curently going through a medical crisis which includes special financial needs.

We ask that you prayerfully consider supporting Young Life in France and the Usrey family during this time.

This second option will assure that extraordinary expenses including medical and associated travel will not drain their personal resources and is vitally important.
 
Although Young Life has outstanding benefits, the Usrey family will incur significant medical expenses in 2009, such as deductibles, co-pays, and other out of pocket medical expenses. Insurance will not cover some aspects of the clinical trail through Duke, as well as travel from Atlanta for evaluations with the Duke team. There will be many other extraordinary non-covered expenses that could rapidly drain their personal resources very quickly.
