Young Life Capernaum

In recent years, Young Life's ministry to kids with disabilities has been gaining momentum. Statistics estimate that 15% of the children in America have some form of disability. We have a burden to reach out to these children with the good news of Jesus Christ.

In Luke 14:13-14, Jesus says, "But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind and you will be blessed."

We believe that this command directs us to pursue starting a Capernaum Club in Frederick County. This is a challenging task. We have several needs to make this happen:

Several volunteers with a heart to reach kids with disabilities
A group of adults willing to use their gifts behind the scenes and as "Senders"
Potentially, funding for a staff member to run the Capernaum Program
