Michael was born and raised in New Jersey where he grew up in an Italian neighborhood 30 minutes outside of NYC. His Young Life experience began as a high school student. As a junior in college he became a volunteer leader and continued after he graduated from Boston University in 2004 with a B.A. in History and a license to teach secondary education. Michael secured a job at Concord-Carlisle High School where he spent two and a half years as a U.S. History teacher, a volunteer Young Life leader, and the JV baseball coach. Michael joined the Young Life team in Greenwich in September of 2006. He currently coaches volleyball at GHS.

Diana graduated from The Ohio State University in 2005 and majored in Physiology while also earing a double minor in Nutrition and Pediatric Development. She has a vast Young Life experience in that she participated in the Young Life program while in high school as well as being a head leader at a high school in Gahanna, Ohio. Diana has coached soccer, basketball and lacrosse over the past 5 years in Greenwich. She, alongside with the rest of the leaders and staff in Greenwich, is leading kids from the Youth Program at Christ Church Greenwich.

Steph grew up in Scotch Plains, New Jersey where she was actively involved in Young Life as a high schooler, having been a WyldLife leader at the program's inception. Steph went on to study German and Philosophy at Gettysburg College, and was was a captain of the Women's Soccer team for both the 2005 and 2006 seasons. As a volunteer YL leader at Gettysburg High School, Steph was part of a team who re-started a club. She graduated with two BA's and came to join the Young Life team in Greenwich, working primarily with the WyldLife program and private school ministry. Steph has been coaching at Greenwich Academy at both the middle and upper school levels.

Amanda Mastera-

Amanda is a Connecticut native who grew up in New Canaan where she was involved in Young Life. She went on to attend Regis University in Denver Colorado where she studied Visual Arts and excelled on the lacrosse field. She then returned home to live and work in Fairfield County and volunteered as a leader in Greenwich. In November 2008 Amanda went on full-time Young Life Staff. She coaches lacrosse at Greenwich High School and currently works with our high school Young Life program.

Tim has been volunteering for WyldLife for several years and has been on Young Life Staff since 2008. He grew up in Darien, CT and graduated from Nyack College in 2008 majoring in Pastoral Ministries. Tim resides in Greenwich with his wife Ali (who is a WyldLife Volunteer) and daughter Lily, who was born in 2009.

Volunteer leader

Many of the students and adults that come out of the Young Life program have returned to Greenwich and have offered their services to Young Life. They volunteer in our clubs, lead a cabin on our camp trips, or chaperone the WyldLife trips. If you would like to be a part of the Young Life leadership team please e-mail us for more details.
