Young Life Thinks the World of Kids
Young Life is a world-class ministry for adolescents. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them — fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about something that we think matters most of all — the truth about Jesus Christ.
Young Life thinks the world of kids. We believe that they deserve to know what life can hold for them. Young Life leaders are caring adults who come sharing that hope as well as fun and lasting friendships with kids. Young Life is also all about fun. From club and camp to Campaigners and other activities, teenagers will have blast laughing, trying new things and being with their friends. Each week approximately 500-600 kids in the greater Holland area are attending a Young Life meeting for their particular school. Nearly twice this number come into contact with a Young Life (high school) or Wyld Life leader (middle school) throughout the week.
Since 1979, Young Life has been a staple in the Holland community. We currently have ministries in 16 different schools, and over 100 volunteer leaders developing relationships with kids in this area. Our leaders are out there in the world of kids crossing barriers to build bridges of authentic friendship. We enter into their world with no expectation of who kids should be, but with every hope for who they can become in Christ.
