WyldLife, Young Life’s outreach program to Middle School youth, is in the works for this fall.  We plan on beginning at Sierra Middle School and then expanding from there.  We have the leaders and staff to head it up, now all we need is parental support and kids participation! 
We intend to hold a kick-off event this September to get the ball rolling.  Recent studies have shown that today's middle school kids are as involved in alcohol use, drug use and premarital sex as kids in High School a decade ago.  We believe the Salvation and safety of our Middle School students is a great need in the community, so we will be placing a lot of emphasis on having a good program where kids can have fun hearing about Christ’s Love for them, and parents can be confident that their kids will be safe.  All Leaders for Young Life, whether High School or Middle School , must consent to and pass a federal Background check as well as agree to Young Life’s Faith and Conduct Policies,  undergo thorough training,  and pass a driving check before they can interact with kids.
