Young Life Lorain County is impacting the lives of high school kids in Avon Lake, Sheffield Village and Sheffield Lake. We are dedicated to offering kids hope in a broken and often confusing world.

A Young Life leader is a reponsible and caring adult who takes an interest in the lives of kids. Young Life leaders meet kids on "their turf" at things like Friday night football games or wherever kids are hanging out.

We believe in earning the right to be heard with kids. Kids who get involved in the local Young Life program at a weekly Club or Campaigner meeting or by coming on a fall weekend or summer camp trip will have the opportunity to hear the Christian message presented in a compelling and relevant way. We believe every kid has the right to hear this message and process it in a pressure-free environment.

We do all this because we believe that Jesus Christ is the strongest, grandest, most attractive person ever to walk the face of the earth and that who he is has a significant meaning for our lives this very day.
