Our goal is to start Young Life Middle School at Alderwood Middle School this upcoming Fall 2009.  It will be dependent upon the volunteers and the resources available.  As our vision states, we desire, "every adolescent to have the opportunity to meet Jesus Christ and to follow Him." 

 

Alderwood Middle School is rich in ethnic diversity.  The following statistics were found on www.greatschools.net.  There is 53% Caucasian, 21% Asian, 12% Hispanic, 10% African-American, 2% multi-racial, 1% American Indian/Alaskan Native and less than 1% Pacific Islander.  There is 37% on reduce lunch, 9% in special education and 10% is transitional bilingual.
