Investing in Kids

For more than 60 years, Young Life has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to kids. Young Life Greater Dane County is proud to carry on the wonderful tradition of introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them to grow in their faith.  More than one million teenagers are touched by the ministry of Young Life each year.  Here in Dane County, we treat every one as if they were the first, the last, the most precious.  Young Life leaders proclaim the gospel by investing in teenagers and building friendships to last a lifetime.  One kid at a time - that's how we aim to achieve our overall goal of "every kid, everywhere, for eternity." 

Single Purpose

Young Life Greater Dane County exists to provide leadership for a singular purpose - reaching kids with the loving message of Christ.  And the message we bring is not mere words on a page, but rather a way of life which is expressed and lived out in the most compelling human form - in authentic relationship.  Following the example of Christ, Young Life leaders don't wait for kids to come to them.  Rather, leaders willingly enter the world of adolescents to engage them on their turf, on their terms.  With patience, persistence, and much prayer, leaders "earn the right to be heard" on life's most important questions.   Some kids may even ask for the reason for our hope.  We're happy to point them to the One whose loving provision and friendship will endure forever.
