Carrying Kids To Camp
Who?
Memphis Urban Young Life (MUYL) staff and volunteers.
What?
Walk through the city of Memphis non-stop until they have reached their goal of raising $45,000 to cover summer camp expense.
When?
Thursday, June 18th
Where?
Front Street/Poplar to Kirby Parkway/Poplar.
Why?
We believe that every kid deserves to be treated like a king. At Young Life camp kids are able to live out that experience – a week of fun, adventure, great service and great food. We also believe that every kid deserves to meet the King. At Young Life camp kids are able to not only hear the Gospel spoken in a clear, relative manner but they also see the Gospel lived out through the team of people at camp to serve them. We commit to walk down the “heart line” of Memphis until we have enough people to support our efforts in Carrying Kids to Camp.
How Can You Help Us Carry Kids To Camp?
We have calculated that we can raise $45,000 with only 360 people helping to make this happen. Please see below and consider helping us in our efforts either individually or teaming with others to be a sponsor.
