Making an Impact

Young Life is a world-class organization for adolescents. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them — fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about something that we think matters most of all — the truth about God and His love for them.

Young Life has been in the Ohio Valley for over 30 years.  There are currently 2 staff and 19 volunteer leaders working in 6 area high schools.  They are supported by three groups of adults called Committee, each serving the counties of Belmont, Ohio, and Marshall. 

The Role of a Young Life Leader

Leaders are committed to being involved with kids' lives -- from supporting them at their sporting events to listening to them talk about what's important to them. Our leaders help kids consider the direction of their lives, and they offer hope for their future.
