Summer 2008 45 Posey county kids, with leaders and adults (who filled the entire adult lodge) traveled to Timber Wolf Lake, Michigan, where they had the best week of their lives.  The presence of the Holy Spirit could be felt working throughout the week.  Just ask any of the kids... they'll tell you that it was an awesome week.

The PCYL 2008 Fall Banquet was a huge success.  The banquet gave Keith Oeth and the kids a chance to show the community what YoungLife is all about.  Approximately 200 guests were treated to great food, a little entertainment, and the opportunity to hear what the kids think of PCYL's ministry.

PCYL took 45 kids and adults to Timber Wolf Lake camp in Lake City, MI in June of 2008.  We came home a week later ... all changed for the better, fired up for the Lord, and TIRED! 
Words can't describe what a powerful experience it was to have about 400 kids making a joyful noise to the Lord.  The kids were incredible.  All of their parents can be PROUD of the way they listened to the message, shared their love for Jesus with each other, and how they worked together as a team all week long. 
The camp kept everyone busy for 15 hours a day. Each event was a surprise to everyone since no schedules were announced.  This was by design... to keep everyone excited.  The kids (and us older kids too) got to go tubing behind a WaveRunner, swim, rope swing into the lake, go Blobbing (ask the kids), mountain bike, hike, run the obstacle course, square dance, have competitions in every sport you can imagine (ask the kids), and go to Club to praise the Lord and make some noise!   Whew!
You'd think that most kids would say that one of the sports was their favorite part of the week.  However, the Lord was guiding us all week and most of the teens said that their favorite activity was "cabin time" at the end of the day.  "Cabin time" gave everyone a chance to discuss the message, ask questions, and get to know their fellow campers. 
You just had to be there to comprehend the spirtual energy that we all felt.  It was AWESOME.  Praise the Lord!!
