Young Life: Rutgers-style
Oh yeah...you remember Young Life. You remember the first time in high school your friends invited you to club - wondering what in the world was going to happen - only to pull up to someone's house and see the house packed with people from your school having the most fun you've had all week!
You definitely remember camp - all the adventure, the food, the "summer romance", and the time you spent under the stars getting real with God for the first time.
Yeah, you made memories, friends, and decisions that were life-changing. Now you are at Rutgers wishing that you could still be invoved... somehow.
Welcome to Rutgers Young Life!!!!
YL @ RU?
Young Life believes one importiant thing about life - it's meant to be lived. The thought of something limiting and restrictive is as obnoxious to us as it is to you - yet that is what most people think of when they think of religion.
In Young Life we are driven by our Christian spirituality. We take it very seriously. We have discovered something about it - it's supposed to be all about life. So... we live.
Young Life is not another opportunity to discuss religions finer points (though we are all pretty smart people and love to give whatever answers we have found). Young Life is an opportunity to live. To make friends, laugh, go on adventures, and to process what life is all about.
