Making a Difference to Kids - Leaders wanted!!!
Leaders are committed to being involved with kids' lives -- from supporting them at their sporting events to listening to them talk about what's important to them. Our leaders help kids consider the direction of their lives, and they offer hope for their future.
High School Programs
Young Life Club
Club is open to all high school aged students in School district 834. The program includes large group social recreational programs, small groups, mentoring, camps, retreats, and service learning opportunities. Young Life club meets Monday evenings from 8-9 PM at the Young Life building.
Campaigners
Campaigners is a Bible Study for high school aged students. Groups are made up of 4 to10 students and 1 to 2 adult leaders for Bible study, sharing, and prayer. Meeting times are determined by each group. Contact YL 651-430-1873 for specific meeting times.
ReaLife
ReaLife is Young Life’s program for at-risk students and includes students from Stillwater Area High School, The Stillwater Area School’s Alternative Learning Program, New Heights Charter School, and the Therapeutic Learning Center. ReaLife meets weekly for a shared meal, life skills training, and support groups where leaders facilitate student-initiated discussions about their current needs.
YoungLives
YoungLives is a teen parent mentoring program. Teens meet regularly with their mentor, forming individual relationships. We hope these relationships will provide an opportunity for mentors to love, support, and assist these teens as they take on their new roles as parents.
Amicus
Amicus is Young Life’s international student exchange program. Christian families open their homes to an exchange student for the school year
Jr. High Programs
BUFFFET
BUFFFET is Being United for Food, Fun & Faith Every Tuesday. This is a life skills based mentoring and tutoring program for alternative junior high students. The program also includes social recreational events, camp, retreats, and service learning opportunities. BUFFFET meets Tuesday afternoon from 2:30-5:30 PM throughout the school year.
ReaLife @ Harbor
ReaLife meets weekly with students in Harbor Shelter, a local residential shelter for boys who have been removed from their homes voluntarily, by the courts, or by social welfare agencies.
