1. Who are the Young Life and Wyldlife leaders?
Leaders are adult volunteers who have a heart for young people. The majority of the leaders in Tucson are college students, but volunteers can be any age: parent, teacher, and community member who have a heart to reach out to kids.
2. What are the qualifications to be a Young Life/Wyldlife leader?
Every leader goes through training and a final interview before placed on a team. Each leader is submitted to a background check through an outside company and must be approved by Young Life to be a driver. Each leader agrees to sign a leadership covenant and the Young Life Statement of Faith.
3. What is the adult supervision at Young Life/Wyldlife events?
Besides our trained leaders, most clubs are hosted at a home, and the parents are there to host. Many times, other parents are present to help welcome, answer questions, and lend a hand with events.
4. Are parents allowed at Young Life/Wyldlife events?
We invite parents to see what their child is a part of. Parents are welcomed to be present at Young Life/Wyldlife events to meet leaders, staff, and understand what their child is attending.
