YoungLives is one of many organizations that are now able to participate in the Charitable Organization Tax Credit Program. This program allows you to direct $400 of your joint return state tax dollars to YoungLives and receive $400 credit back on your state taxes. You can participate in this tax credit in addition to the public and private school tax credits.

• The Charitable Organization tax credit is a SEPARATE credit. You can also contribute to the Public and Private School Tax Credit.
• A tax credit is money that you give directly to the charity, and you receive back dollar for dollar on your state taxes.
• A deduction is money that is taken off of your gross income.
