Dear Friends,

This semester went by too fast. Before I really got to know all of my new friends at Howard it was time for exams and now they are boarding planes, loading up in cars and taking trains to the many places all over the country where they live. It makes me realize how fortunate I am to be able to share life with these bright young people who are the future leaders of our country in business, medicine, law, politics, etc. We were able to complete our first semester of leader training and place a small group of new leaders in schools in the area. It is so exciting to watch them as they prepare to give their lives away to high school and middle school students. We are already looking ahead to next semester which is full of new and exciting things. We are doing a big event to promote Young Life College on Howard's campus. The  plan is to distribute laundry detergent and bags to students. A card will be attached that has a little bit about us and invites students to come to our Young Life College meeting. Please feel free to join us in prayer for this event. Our second sememster leader training will begin in mid January. We are excited about the list of people that we have so far.
