What is Young Life?

Young Life thinks the world of kids. Its vision is that every adolescent will have the opportunity to meet Jesus Christ and follow Him.  

We do that by praying for kids, going where they are, earning the right to be heard, sharing the gospel with them, and loving them regardless of their response.

We believe kids deserve to know what life can hold for them. Young Life leaders are caring adults who come sharing that hope and work to develop lasting friendships with kids.

Young Life is also all about fun--teenagers will have a blast laughing, trying new things and being with their friends. At Club each week and at Camp, Young Life provides experiences that are fun, adventurous and life-changing. 

Leaders also have the opportunity to go more in-depth about the gospel and their faith with their high school friends at Campaigners--a weekly meeting for kids who wish to learn more through Bible study.  Leaders also encourage these kids to celebrate their faith by participating in a local congregation. 

The Role of a Young Life Leader

Leaders are committed to being involved with kids' lives -- from supporting them at their sporting events to listening to them talk about what's important to them. Our leaders help kids consider the direction of their lives, and they offer hope for their future.
