What is life really all about? What direction is my life headed? At Campaigners, you can ask those kinds of questions (and more!) and talk with your friends and Young Life leaders. Campaigners is a weekly meeting for kids who wish to learn more or grow in their faith through study, service and leadership. The Campaigner group in your area may go by a different name, but the purpose is the same: taking on life's tough questions with a group of friends and leaders you can trust.
Coming soon... "Campaigners One" and "Campaigners Core."
Serving the Community
In Campaigners, we're all about providing Asian kids a chance to "pay it forward," to put Christian faith into action. Several times a year we organize "Campaigners Service Projects" in which our Campaigners kids get a chance to help others in need. We partner with organizations like Habitat for Humanity, the Special Olympics, and local churches to make a difference in the lives of others. Our teenage volunteers are rewarded with community service credit hours for the work that they do along with the satisfaction that comes from knowing that they helped others.
Our Bergen County Campaigners Core meetings regularly take place at:
Every year we take folks from our Bergen County Campaigners group to Capernaum Camp, a special ministry of Young Life designed to serve kids and young adults with disabilities. In 2008, we took 25 people from Asian Young Life and from the CCCNJ youth group to this special camp. In 2009, we'll be going on July 31 - August 5. More info coming very soon.
