We hope that your school year is off to a good start! But now that we're back in school, it's time to get ready for another exciting year of AYL club. Our next club will be this Saturday, November 14. Join dozens of other Asian American high school kids from all over Bergen County for a night that promises to be more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
Many people ask, "What do you do at club?" Our response: "We eat, we sing, we laugh, we listen, and we win." Seriously, that's what we do! We always start off by eating free pizza or some other food. Then we sing some cool songs, and then we laugh at some really funny games or skits (which we call the "minutes"). We then listen to an inspiring message about life given by one of the AYL leaders, and then we finish the night by awarding insane prizes to a few lucky winners. We do all of this in a relaxed, supportive environment in which you can hang out with Asian American teenagers from all over Bergen County. You'll also get to meet some pretty cool adult leaders who really care about you. Trust us when we say that club is unbelievably fun and unlike anything you are probably expecting. Hang out with your friends. Laugh. Club is just for you. At club you can relax, have a good time and be yourself. You'll also learn about God and His love for you. But consider yourself warned: Club can be unpredictable. The music, skits and games may surprise you, so get ready to enjoy an experience like no other.
