Saranac Second Timer Policy

If you previously experienced the "best week of your life," we are encouraged to know that you want to return to Saranac. Please keep in mind that only a limited number of people are allowed to return to Saranac as "second-timers." If you wish to go back to Asian Young Life camp at Saranac a second (or third or fourth) time, you must complete the following three requirements:

You must be actively involved in Asian Young Life by regularly attending Campaigners and club in Bergen County.
We expect you to bring at least one friend of the same gender whom you care about and with whom you plan to spend time at camp. This friend must live in Bergen County, and he or she must attend the same high school as you.
You must complete and submit an application and then talk privately with your leader about your reasons for wanting to return to Saranac.

If you meet these three requirements, you will be "eligible" to return to Saranac. The Asian Young Life leaders will then meet in the spring to select a limited number of people from among the applicants who are eligible. Hopefully, you will be chosen and given the opportunity to not only relive the best week of your life for yourself but also to help your friends have a similar experience. Good luck!
