Each local area has a committee of adults who believe in the mission of Young Life: to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith. You'll find adults from all different backgrounds, careers and denominations, including lots of moms and dads who care about kids.
Committee members partner with the local ministry in a variety of ways, some of which include praying for the local area, participating in fund-raising events and providing administrative help to the local staff.
The Asian Young Life committee provides parents, pastors, alumni, former leaders, and other adult members of the community an opportunity to share in the responsibility and ownership of the Asian Young Life ministry in cooperation with the local Asian Young Life area director, volunteer leaders, and the New York Metropolitan regional director.
