Help Us Buy a Van

A family is offering us their 2004 Toyota Sienna van at HALF of its current value. In other words, although the van is worth about $12,000, the family is willing to sell it to us for only $6,000. A church and a family have already stepped forward to cover a little more than half the cost of purchasing this van, but neither the church nor this family are going to release the funds to AYL until we raise the rest of the money first.

This is where we need your help! Basically, every dollar that is donated in this special campaign will be MATCHED by the church and family that are supporting us. Will you help us acquire this van? We need to come up with just $3,000 more, and then the van will be ours so that we can safely drive kids once again. Please consider making a special donation today!

Asian Young Life exists because of adults who care about kids. For the 2008-09 school year, we are trying to raise $64,977 to cover all of our expenses. Our primary financial need is to raise money so that we can assist kids in going to camp, but we have many other needs as well. Any gift — no matter what the size — is appreciated. We would especially love it if you would become a regular monthly supporter (That way we can live and plan according to a budget.).
