40 Lucky Bitterroot Kids Head to WILDHORSE CANYON in July!
March 18, 2006
Author: Andy Chidwick

A good week at summer camp is a must for kids.  And if a kid happens to be fortunate enough to go to summer camp with Young Life, if might just be life-changing.

We will be loading onto a bus at 0'dark-thirty on the morning of July 22 and driving many hours to Wildhorse Canyon, a premier Young Life camp in the middle of stinkin' nowhere in central Oregon.  Tucked into a small canyon is a lush oasis of green grass, a lake, and beautiful facilities.  This is the setting for what will no doubt be the best week of their lives.

There is no shortage of things to do at Wildhorse, and the craziness goes late into the night--just the way kids like it.  The accommodations are top notch; the food is incredible (did I mention dessert twice a day?); the staff is second to none; and the activities--wow--they are unlike anything these kids have ever experienced before.  Watch the video and you'll see what we mean.

A camp this good doesn't come cheap, but never fear, fundraisers are here.  If you can come up with $99 and are willing to do some work, we can get you to camp.  And if you can't come up with $99, but are willing to do a lot of work, we can still figure something out.

We will return exhausted, late at night on the 28th, ready to sleep for a good 24 hours or so.

You're going to Wildhorse, baby.  Be prepared to have your world officially rocked.

Contact Andy Chidwick for more information.  Remember, only forty kids will get to go, so you need to sign up fast before the spots are gone.
