A WORD TO PARENTS CONCERNING YOUNG LIFE
Young Life is an international non-denominational Christian outreach ministry that is active in nearly 10% of all U.S. high schools. Through personal relationships, weekly meetings, and a camping program, we seek to assist individuals making their way in a confusing world and communicate the Christian faith in terms they can understand. Our aim is to provide resources and an atmosphere in which kids can make intelligent decisions for themselves. Just in case you’re worried, everyone who goes is insured, and there is always a doctor or nurse at Lost Canyon. There will also be qualified adult leaders going at a 1-8 leader /camper ratio. One of the Young Life leaders, or one of the Young Life committee members in the area will gladly answer your questions. Responsible, mature Young Life leaders will be involved with the kids in a well-planned program for the entire week.
