In WyldLife, we love middle school kids! They are full of life and yet experiencing profound emotional and physical changes.

 

Middle school is a time when kids make important decisions about who they are and what they believe. And so WyldLife leaders — who range from spiritually mature high school and college students to moms, dads and retirees — consider it a privilege to be involved in their lives. We seek to model and express God's love to our young friends by learning their names, hearing their stories and honoring their God-given desire for a life of fun, adventure and purpose.

 

 

In WyldLife, adults and parents usually play a more prominent role in the kids' lives and in their decisions. WyldLife Team Moms and Dads lead and shepherd a team of WyldLife leaders at a middle school and promote WyldLife with adults in the community. Parent Support Groups assist the staff and leaders with everything from praying for the ministry to providing food for club. When parents are part of the WyldLife team, the ministry succeeds.

There are 1,184 WyldLife ministries in existence with 27,187 kids participating each week. Nearly 6,277 middle schoolers are involved in Campaigners (weekly Bible study) and more than 10,000 WyldLife kids went to camp in 2005. More than 188,000 kids are involved in WyldLife ministry each year.
