Kids love adventure. They love exploration, laughter and surprises. Kids also want to know their lives have meaning and their relationships have depth. In short, they want to live, not just exist. But with any great adventure can come difficulties. Adolescence is a time of excitement, struggle, risk and sometimes even danger. Kids face temptations we never dreamed were possible, in an environment which can be quite hostile at times. The way can be confusing without the proper guide. This is where Young Life enters the picture. Whether trekking with kids in the school hallway, surprising them with the unknown of club, exploring the deep mysteries of life at Campaigners or plunging into the wild and beautiful terrain that is Young Life camp, we are privileged to lead them on the adventure of a lifetime. And is there any more epic adventure than a life fully lived? This is the abundant life Jesus promises – filled with heights and depths, fun and surprises, friends and relationships. The adventure doesn’t stop with kids, however. There are plenty of ways to be involved with this expedition. Like any great adventure, this one requires time, skills and resources. Thanks for wanting to investigate the Epic Adventure awaiting us all.
