While "Young Life" is the organization's name, it is also what we call our work with high school kids.  Because middle school kids are at a different developmental stage than high schoolers and need different things, we make a subtle delineation between the two by appropriately calling our work with early adolescents WyldLife.

Of our 80+ volunteer leaders in Athens, 15 specifically work with middle school kids at Clarke Middle, Oconee Middle, & Morgan County Middle.  These leaders receive some special training throughout the year on how to do WyldLife and how to reach middle school kids in the midst of the unique issues they are facing.

We'll be going to Southwind in Ocklawaha, Florida this summer.  Southwind is one of Young Life's premier camps for middle school folks.  Find out more at the Southwind website.
