What is Irvine Young Life?
Irvine Young Life has a goal to reach young people from middle school to college in the greater Irvine area.
COLLEGE
We are currently starting College Young Life in the area in what we are call ing "UC Irvine and Beyond." We love walking with college students through exciting years of discovering who they are and discovering who God is. Although we are targeted at the UC Irvine region, we love all college age students and are currently building a vision for how to serve all college students in the area. Currently we have college students involved in our community from UC Irvine, Concordia, Chapman, Cal State Fullerton, Irvine Valley College, and Saddleback College.
If you have a vision for your college campus we would love to talk to you about building a college Young Life right there in that neighborhood. Otherwise we would love to have you come join our community, meeting every Tuesday night for dinner, real conversation, and a ton of fun. Dinner at Mike and Rachel's house starts at 7, and college students hang out there til around midnight.
We invite students to come as they are and be themselves, yet be challenged to become all God has for them. Young Life is a safe place to explore faith in community, build friendships, and make a difference locally and around the world.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
We currently have Wyldlife (Young Life for middle school) going on at Vista Verde Middle School, meeting on Thursday nights at 7pm. Come bring your kids to check out a weekly night of fun and games, delicious food, and a chance to discover God through relationships and excitement. Your kids will love it! Stick around and talk with some other parents and feel good that your kid is in a safe place. We always meet in a local neighborhood home and would love to fill you in on where this week's most exciting night is taking place. Give us a call for directions and details!
HIGH SCHOOL
We would love to get Young Life going in the high schools as well as more middle schools here in Irvine. To help out, ask questions, or dream with us about how to do so, contact Mike McEvoy at any time. (Contact info on seperate page)
