For those of you who might not know what club is, club typically meets once a week and has been described as an experience in "controlled chaos". Leaders combine songs, humor and group interaction to set the stage for an informal talk about Jesus Christ. Club meetings are filled with energetic fun where kids can express that teenage tendency to push the limits but within the context of a safe environment. The atmosphere is one of acceptance, and young people are free to reject, question, or accept what they hear.
I can't believe we made it back in one piece! This year's summer camp trip was one for the books. We took 130 kids and leaders from the greater Columbia area to Sharptop Cove. We brought 52 kids and leaders from Lake Murray alone; that is largest number we have ever taken!

BREWER HOMES LAKE MURRAY YOUNG LIFE OPEN
A special thanks to all that were a part of making the 2009 Brewer Homes Lake Murray Young Life Open such a great success. We saw nearly 80 golfers come out to play and over 25 companies from the Lake Murray area represented through sponsorship or with a team. Please check out this year's
