Taking two of Ann and I's children to Nicaragua, while the other two finish college is one of the most challenging adventures in our lives. Simply put, we are experiencing a bit of desperation these days as we trust God to provide the spiritual and emotional resources for the journey. Right now the Lord is using the upending of our settled life to show us aspects of our lives that need relinquished to him as we feel we are on an accelerated growth curve. Colossians 3:1-3 reminds us to keep our minds on things above.
