In March 2007, a team of Young Life leaders from Arizona introduced the community of Puerto Penasco to Young Life.  By June, a group of volunteer leaders emerged from the communty and attended a leadership training taught by Young Life staff.  In December, a team of ten traveled to Nicaragua to attend a leadership camp training for a week!

 

This is the first Young Life international ministry that is led entirely by nationals there !  Alberto and Loly Martinez have been hired to lead this work in Puerto Penasco.
