So what's the big deal about Young Life?  It's simply in the relationships that we have with kids.  See, Young Life isn't just another program - it's people.  People who dive deep into the world of kids.

Young Life leaders don't wait for kids to come to them - we go where they are.  Whether the basketball court, football game, the street corner, or a neighborhood hang-out, Young Life leaders make it a point to enter their world for the sake of friendship.  We call this contact work.  It's what makes us unique. 

We have found that kids want meaningful relationships with adults who care about them and who can help them navigate the rough waters of being a teenager.  Young Life leaders volunteer between 5-25 hours of their week to simply investing in these kids.

On top of this, Young Life has these giant, high energy meetings called "Club" where kids come to laugh, sing, be with friends, and hear about life from their Young Life leader - all from the perspective of Christian spirituality.

Campaigners is the time in the week where kids can gather for a frank questioning of what it means to be a Christian in today's world.  Nothing is off limits and each discussion is held with the kids' well-being in mind and their right to choose for themselves protected.  Their questions are always handled with grace and kids are never judged - just loved.

Finally, our camping progam is second-to-none.  Kids always call Young Life camp - "The Best Week of My Life"
