The school year is in full swing and Young Life is as busy as ever keeping up with kids in Marin!  Our leaders have been spotted all over town cheering at football and water polo games, lunching on campus, hanging at the movies and even driving kids to homecoming.  Our mission to go where kids are has never been stronger.  While relationships are being formed, programs are up and running with Tuesday night high school clubs and monthly Wyldlife activities.  God is moving in Marin!
 
While the ministry thrives, Young Life has not been immune to the challenges of a tough economy.  We join many other non-profits in their struggle to raise the budget needed to run full-time ministry.  In response to the lean times we are experiencing, we have had to cut the part-time position of Jessica Pridemore. We will miss having Jessica on our staff, but we are blessed that she has found a new full-time job and will be staying on our volunteer leadership team.  Our ministry will continue to be blessed by Jessica's gifts.  We are incredibly grateful for the faithful donors who have given us the foundation we need to pursue kids for Christ.  Your investment is an eternal one- the value will not diminish!
 
In an effort to raise more consistent funding for our outreach work, we have launched a campaign called “The Faithful 50”.  This campaign will allow people who love and believe in Young Life to invest in our ministry at $50/month.  When we reach our goal of Faithful 50, we will have raised $30k for the year of ministry of Young Life Marin.  We would love to have you join us in this campaign.  To become a Faithful 50 investor, please contact Christie Valenzona at christievalenzona@gmail.com or 415-602-3277.
